Tom Price Vic Hayton Memorial Swimming Pool, Onslow Aquatic Centre, and Paraburdoo Quentin Broad Swimming Pool will open from September to May for the 2021/2022 season after a well-received extended season trial last year.

With this in mind, the Shire of Ashburton is pleased to announce that the pools will once again be running an extended season, commencing 2 September 2021.

Many patrons took advantage of the extended season last year, with discounted season passed and concessions for swim club members as well as town swimming clubs gaining additional time to train prior to the Pilbara Swimming Championships in November

Additionally, each pool was able to host Shire events, private parties and more with attendance numbers across the board increased.

The official opening hours for the 2021/2022 season will be:

2-23 September 2021 and 3-31 May 2022

Tuesday and Thursday 1pm-6pm

Saturday 10am-5pm

25 September 2021 – 30 April 2022

Monday to Friday 8am-8pm

Saturday and Sunday 8am-6pm

Public Holidays 10am-5pm

Each pool will be closed on both Christmas Day and Good Friday and are wheelchair and companion card friendly. All of the Shire's swimming pools and aquatic centres are Royal Life Saving Society WA ‘Watch Around Water’ endorsed centres.
