The Shire of Ashburton is pleased to announce the practical completion of the Pannawonica Sports Club Alfresco and Playground Renewal Project!
Delivered in partnership with Rio Tinto through the Inspire Community Partnership, the project includes a new viewing deck at the Pannawonica Sports Club and upgraded playground facilities, creating a more welcoming, accessible and enjoyable space for residents and visitors of all ages.
These improvements enhance two of Pannawonica’s most valued community assets, providing greater opportunities for recreation, connection and community gatherings.
Following the successful delivery of the Pannawonica Bike Park, this project represents another significant milestone for the Inspire Community Partnership, continuing to invest in initiatives that improve liveability and deliver lasting community benefits.
The Shire would like to thank Byblos Constructions for their dedication in bringing the project to life and the Pannawonica community for your patience throughout construction.
We look forward to celebrating this achievement with you at the Grand Reopening on Saturday, 18 October 2026.
