Construction Commences on Pannawonica Sports Club and Playground Upgrades
The Shire of Ashburton is pleased to announce that construction has officially commenced on the outdoor deck and playground renewal project, delivered in partnership with Rio Tinto through the Inspire Community Partnership.
The project will see the development of a new viewing deck at the Pannawonica Sports Club, alongside upgraded playground facilities designed to create a more welcoming, accessible and enjoyable space for residents and visitors of all ages. These improvements will enhance two of the town's most valued community assets, providing greater opportunities for recreation, connection and community gatherings.
Following the successful delivery of the Pannawonica Bike Park, the commencement of these works marks another important milestone for the Inspire Community Partnership, which continues to invest in projects that improve liveability and create lasting benefits for local communities.
The Shire thanks residents for their patience during construction and encourages community members to follow all directional signage and safety measures in place around the work areas while the upgrades are carried out by Byblos Constructions.
