2026 Citizen of the Year Awards

Each year as part of our Australia Day activities, the Shire of Ashburton acknowledges and celebrates the contributions of people within our vibrant regional communities.

The Citizen of the Year Awards reward and recognise individuals and organisations who have given outstanding service over the year across our towns.

By recognising those who have made a significant contribution to our community, we hope to encourage continued active participation, and increased community sentiment and vibrancy across the Shire.

It was a wonderful day for the winners and nominees to be acknowledged at the Summer Pool Parties and Onslow Boat Regatta – thank you to our Elected Members for officiating these events.
