Jarndunmunha Festival
Friday, 7 August 2026
| 3:00PM - 11:00PM
(Multiple Dates Between Friday 7th August 2026 & Saturday 8th August 2026)
Tom Price's most loved event returns in 2026! Mark your calendars for two days of community fun and entertainment.
The Festival takes its name from Jarndunmunha also known as Mount Nameless, meaning “place of rock wallabies”. This name comes from the Eastern Guruma people, the traditional custodians of the land surrounding Tom Price. From its earliest days, the Festival has been about bringing people together—celebrating place, community spirit and the unique character of Tom Price.
At its heart, the Jarndunmunha Festival is a community-driven celebration. It thrives thanks to the dedication of volunteer committee members, sponsors, and local groups whose ongoing support ensures the festival continues to grow and flourish each year.
The festival officially opens at 3:00pm on Friday, 7th August, with carnival rides, showbags, market stalls, and the food alley welcoming visitors. Live entertainment will kick off on the main stage, alongside roving performers, interactive activations, and fun activities for kids.
On Saturday, festivities begin at 9:00am with the much-loved street parade, starting at the town swimming pool and making its way to the festival grounds at Mountain View Sporting Club. Prizes will be awarded on the main stage following the parade.
Visitors can also enjoy displays of locally owned cars and motorbikes, polished and proudly showcased. The Home Industries tent will feature a range of impressive handmade creations from the community.
The afternoon promises plenty of entertainment, including TP Has Talent, followed by a lineup of fantastic bands to keep the energy high and the celebrations going into the evening.
