The Pilbara Inland Chamber of Commerce and Onslow Chamber of Commerce are exploring ways to strengthen the advocacy, business support and networking opportunities for businesses in Tom Price, Onslow, Paraburdoo and Pannawonica.
We are investigating the option of amalgamating the two existing Chambers of Commerce, maintaining a permanent presence in Onslow and Tom Price but with a shared governance structure and business model.
This is an important opportunity to explore the potential positive and negative impacts of an amalgamation and gather feedback from our valued business community.
We invite you to attend an information session that will be facilitated by a local, independent business strategist. The sessions will be held on 9 and 10 February in Onslow, Tom Price, Paraburdoo and online. Details of the events are attached and available via this registration link:
The decision on the future of the Chambers will be made based on the findings of an independent survey of businesses operating in the Shire of Ashburton. The survey will commence after the information sessions.
We are committed to keeping you updated on this project and will continue to inform, consult, and collaborate with our Chamber members and all businesses operating in Ashburton as we progress.
