Shire of Ashburton festive season opening hours (Closed)


Shire of Ashburton residents are advised that Shire services will run alternative opening hours across Christmas and New Year.

The Shire of Ashburton administration office Christmas closure will commence on Monday 27 December 2021 until Monday 3 January 2022. Shire offices will reopen on Tuesday 4 January 2022.

Other services will open as follows:

 

Waste Services 24 December – 3 January

Tom Price and Paraburdoo Waste Sites: Tuesday to Saturday 7.30am – 3.30pm and Sunday 7.30am – 12.30pm. Closed Australia Day and public holidays.

Commercial Waste run: Monday – Friday (including public holidays)

Tom Price Domestic Waste run: Wednesday and Thursday (including public holidays)

Paraburdoo Domestic Waste run: Tuesday (including public holidays)

Onslow Transfer Station: Monday – Saturday 8.00am – 3.30pm (closed public holidays)

All three sites will close at 12pm on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

 

Library Hours

Onslow Library:  Closed 25 December – 3 January

Paraburdoo Library: Closed 25 December – 3 January               

Tom Price Library: Closed 25 December – 3 January

Pannawonica Library: Closed 24 December – 3 January

 

Swimming Pools

22-24 December 2021: 9am-6pm

26-27 December 2021: 10am-5pm

29-31 December 2021: 9am-6pm

1 January 2022: 10am-5pm

2 January 2022: 9am-6pm

3 January 2022: 10am-5pm

All pools will be closed on Christmas Day.

 

Tom Price Visitor Centre

The Visitor Centre will be closed on 25, 26, 27 and 28 December. On Saturday 18 and 24 December, the centre will be open from 8:30am-12:30pm.

From November to March the centre is closed on Sundays and Public Holidays, and open from 8:30am-5:00pm unless otherwise stated.

In the event of an emergency, contact 000 as normal. The Shire of Ashburton’s after hours call centre will handle other emergencies, such as ranger services. The team at the Shire of Ashburton wish all our community members a wonderful holiday season and a safe, happy and prosperous New Year.
