Cr Brie Noone

Ward: Tom Price   Term: 2025 - 2029

Brie Noone is a Councillor for Tom Price, where she has resided for nine years. Now in her second term with the Shire of Ashburton, Cr Noone's key advocacy areas include:

  • Diversifying education opportunities
  • Improving access to housing
  • Building capacity and opportunity for small businesses
  • Advocating for improved access to health care
  • Focusing on a more sustainable future

Cr Noone is also a business owner, arts educator and community volunteer. She is dedicated to growing in her roles through continued education and professional development.

She is proud of the many achievements from her first term on Council, including the implementation of the Small Business Grants, Ashburton Art Awards and the Inspiring Youth Leaders Fund - initiatives that ensure local businesses, artists and young people have greater access to opportunities for growth. She has supported numerous local events, including the Community Carols, ANZAC Day services, Citizenship Ceremonies, the AWARE Gala and the Karijini Experience, as well as contributing to the planning that informs the My Pilbara Home Strategy.

A strong advocate for the community, she has contributed to improved safety through the footpath plan and supported enhanced community facilities such as pool heating in three towns and the Minna Oval Sports Club. 

Cr Brie Noone continues to advocate for stronger community and stakeholder partnerships, greater transparency in decision‑making and improved practices that support a more sustainable future for our Shire.
