Standing water remains in parts of Onslow following recent weather.
This morning, the Shire’s Environmental Health team assessed drainage and water pooling across Onslow and treated areas where required. The situation will continue to be monitored over the coming days.
To reduce mosquito risk, residents are encouraged to:
• Remove standing water around your home and backyard
• Avoid flooded or pooled water areas where possible
• Use insect repellent and wear protective clothing, especially at dawn and dusk
