Paraburdoo Healing Hearts Workshop

During this free 2-hour workshop, participants will explore 6 topics to enable them to feel confident in supporting children, who have been impacted by trauma using a Positive Behaviour Support approach.

The 6 topics are:
- Understanding trauma and its effect on brain development
- How the impact of trauma on the brain affects children’s behaviour and relationships.
- Building attachments and developing appropriate responses to challenging behaviours.
- Building children’s Skills: to help support and promote future recovery.
- Working together to create safe supportive environments for children.
- Applying a positive behaviour support approach to children affected by trauma.
