Q: Where can I buy a ticket?

Entry is free to most events. Only the Dark Sky Dinner on Sunday night and Sunset Cruises on Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd incur a charge.

Q: What do I need to know about the Pool Party?

Free entry with a Max capacity 220pax. Children under 10 years of age must have an accompanying adult or have someone already in the centre that is willing to supervise.

Q: Where can I eat?

Onslow has a number of eateries including the Onslow Beach Resort, Beadon Bay Hotel, Thalanyji Food and Fuel, The Onslow General Store and for the Eclipse week there will be a number of food trucks in town. 

Q: Can we camp at Old Onslow?

You are not allowed to camp at the Old Onslow townsite. We understand that some online campsites mention that there is free camping along the Ashburton river. Please note that the Shire of Ashburton does not control this land and visitors need to ensure they have correct approvals to stay here.

Q: What time are the Fireworks?

The M&V Marine Fireworks Display is scheduled for 7:30pm on Thursday 20th April 2023.

Q: When and where are the Road Closures?

There will  be 2 road closures in place during the eclipse week.  

The first will be along First Ave between 7:00am – 11:30pm on Thursday 20th April.  

The second will be at ANZAC Memorial Parklands on Friday 21st April between 4:00pm – 11:30pm 

Q: Is it safe to wear Eclipse glasses?

If you choose to wear Eclipse Glasses it is important that that you understand the risks. Solar eclipse (healthywa.wa.gov.au)

Both fuel stations are located on Second Ave central to town.
