Notice of intention to enter a major land transaction

In accordance with section 3.59 of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Ashburton gives notice of its intention to enter a major land transaction as detailed below:

Lot 381 on Deposited Plan 205462, Second Avenue, Onslow (2.3666 hectares)
- Transaction Details
The Shire of Ashburton proposes to develop land for the purpose of carrying on a trading undertaking (Caravan Park). The ‘Ocean View Caravan Park (Phase 3)’ project entails the design and construction of a third phase of the Ocean View Caravan Park, Onslow. The development proposal is in the order of $8.6 million.

The Shire of Ashburton has prepared a business plan which includes an overall assessment of the proposed land transaction. A copy of the business plan may be inspected or obtained from the Shire of Ashburton, 246 Poinciana Street, Tom Price WA 6751 or via the Shire website at www.ashburton.wa.gov.au.
- Invitation for Public Submissions
If any person should wish to make a submission regarding the proposed land transaction, they are invited to make it in writing or by email, clearly marked “Submission - Ocean View Caravan Park (Phase 3)” and;
- Deliver it by hand at the Shire of Ashburton Administration Building, 246 Poinciana Street, Tom Price WA 6751, or

All public submissions are to be made and received by the Shire of Ashburton before 4:00pm, Monday 11 July 2022.
