Tom Price – Marian Hearne
Maz is an outstanding community member whose dedication and selfless service have been instrumental in supporting the local AWARE group, which aids families and caregivers of individuals with disabilities. Her tireless volunteer efforts ensure the group’s survival and success. Despite numerous commitments, Maz consistently steps up where needed, bringing passion, reliability, and genuine care for others. She works quietly behind the scenes, yet her impact is deeply felt, strengthening resources and uplifting those around her. Maz embodies true community spirit, inspiring others through her unwavering commitment to service.
Pannawonica – Warrick Lineham
Warrick is a selfless member of the community who always goes above and beyond to help others. He consistently puts the needs of those in the community first and is always willing to give a hand, lift something heavy, or come to someone's aid.
Onslow – Dee Walkington
Dee Walkington is a shining example of community spirit and selfless service, consistently stepping up to help and staying until the job is done. She generously volunteers at local events, whether cooking with love or organizing bingo nights that bring people together, always making a meaningful impact. Dee leads by example, inspiring others through her enthusiasm, generosity, and unwavering commitment. She embodies the very best of our community’s values, living them daily through her actions. This nomination is a heartfelt acknowledgment of the immense difference she makes.
Paraburdoo – Phil & Bethwyn Boatwright
Phil and Bethwyn Boatwright have been the driving force behind the Paraburdoo Swim Club for over a decade, demonstrating unwavering dedication, passion, and generosity. Phil has played a vital role in the club’s leadership, serving as a technical official, committee member, treasurer, and vice president, ensuring the club runs smoothly and successfully. Bethwyn, as Head Coach, has transformed the swimming experience for countless young athletes, fostering confidence, resilience, and a love for the sport beyond competition.
April 2025 All Stars
Tom Price – Charlotte Pukeke
Charlotte is an incredibly generous volunteer who takes her time to serve the community of Tom Price, even doing food and Christmas packages for the community in Wakuthuni. She consistently shows kindness and charity to all she meets, feeding hungry mouths and helping food not going to waste in landfill. The effort she puts in, especially in the Pilbara heat, making her home a welcoming space to visit for those who need it is deserving of an All Star!
Pannawonica – Radford Berveling
Radford is an amazing asset to the community. He is always willing to help anyone out. He is a valued member of the VFRS in Pannawonica and shows amazing leadership, teamwork and respect in all he does.
Onslow – Cam McGurk
Cam has been the President/Chair of the Ashburton Anglers from the very beginning in 2018. His leadership and passion for the growth of the Club is exceptional. His commitment to all the annual events to be bigger and better, allowing the Anglers to be able to showcase some very noteworthy events and competitions for the town of Onslow every year!
Paraburdoo – Kate Press
Kate Press has for the past two years helped with the Paraburdoo ANZAC Day services by helping set up and also doing a Reading at the services. Thank you for all you do, Kate!
March 2025 All Stars
Tom Price - Michael Harris
Michael is constantly giving back within the Tom Price Community! He is always at events eager to jump in and assist staff with pack away and set up. Tom Price is very lucky to have a Community Member as kind and willing to give back as Michael is!
Pannawonica - Cam Courthope
Cam generously helped the Shire Team and Tiny Tots with pack down of the play equipment at the Community Showcase, opting to miss out on the band to help instead. Cam’s kindness doesn’t go unnoticed often volunteering with Playgroup and other activities in town.
Onslow - Vicki Harris
Vicki Harris has taken over the running of the Onslow Op Shop the last 12 months with. Volunteering her time Vicki always ensure the op shop is open on its nominated days without fail. There has been so many positive comments about the op shop as of late it’s a real testament to Vicki’s dedication to be able to provide a fabulous service to Onslow. Vicki always has positive attitude and a real motivation.
Paraburdoo – Jay
Jay volunteers on a number of committees in Paraburdoo, in particular the Basketball committee. Jay has no children in the association however is committed to ensuring the association remains active to provide the community opportunities for participation and growth.
February 2025 All Stars
Blake Russell, Tom Price: Me and my family were on holiday down in Perth. Blake went to our home and spent a few hours doing cyclone prep before doing his own home. Thank you Blake!
Max Mulcahy, Pannawonica: Max keeps the Community safe by removing snakes from across the town, day and night. Who you gonna Call? Max Mulcahy!
Sammy MacKenzie, Flynn Brazendale, and Jack Spencer, Onslow: After the cyclone in early January, the three boys got together to clean out the skate bowl. The Shire workers had already been busy around the rest of the skate park and had the rest of town to tidy up. Together they swept, raked and bagged up all the debris, so the bowl was ready to go again. Well done to the boys for recognising that they were able to help and doing it with a smile.
Kaysee Stone, Paraburdoo: For her commitment to our community and involvement in multiple different committees including the P & C and drive in. Kaysee’s efforts are appreciated.

Emily Wilson, Onslow: It is with great respect that we recognise Emily for her exceptional service to our community. Through her unwavering dedication, she has ensured the smooth and timely delivery of fresh produce to Onslow, bridging the gap between suppliers and families with care and efficiency. Her selfless contributions—managing orders, coordinating logistics, and keeping everything running smoothly—have enriched the lives of so many in our town. Emily’s tireless work exemplifies the true spirit of community and volunteerism. She is a great asset to the Onslow community.
Patrick Gray, Tom Price: His ongoing volunteer commitment to the Tom Price Bushfire Brigade. Serving the brigade as a lieutenant and his volunteer work within the local emergency service space!
Louise Fitzsimon, Pannawonica: Louise always goes above and beyond contributing her time to the Pannawonica community. This includes volunteering at the school uniform shop as well as supporting the sports club with gardening needs. She's a valuable community member and deserves the recognition for all her amazing work.
Jeff McCormack, Paraburdoo: Jeff organised indoor soccer for the community all on his own, not only running the sessions but actively sourcing donations and grants to make it happen and reestablish a committee. Jeff’s true community spirit is highly appreciated for his dedication and efforts.
