Shire of Ashburton Signature Events Grant

Applications for the Shire of Ashburton Community Support Grants are currently closed and will reopen in July.
- How much can an organisation apply for: Up to $10,000 with matched funding
- Applications may include the following: Events or programs that can demonstrate broad community benefit, events that are accessible and diverse, events expected to attract more than 200 attendees including outside the Shire of Ashburton.
- What Cannot Be Applied For: Prizes for raffles or competitions, events that are exclusive or only for members of a club, alcohol and catering, activities that duplicate what another organisation is already doing.
Please note: Funding is only available to incorporated community and sporting organisations
Please ensure that you consider the Community Access and Inclusion Plan (CAIP) 2023 - 2027 when submitting your application.
All areas of the application form must be completed; additional information may be attached if required.
Applications will not be funded retrospectively.
The grants are competitive and decisions to fund part or all of a request are based on:
- The extent to which the project directly benefits the residents of the Shire of Ashburton
- Funding and/or contributions from other sources
Applications must be received by the advertised closing date and may take up to eight weeks to be assessed and awarded. Late applications will not be considered.
