Notice of Proposed Permanent Road Closures and New Road Dedication

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 58 of the Land Administration Act 1997, that Council intends to close the following unconstructed road reserves (paper roads):
- Land ID Number 3759231 amalgamated into Lot 149 on Deposited Plan 220384
- Land ID Number 3759230 amalgamated into Lot 150 on Deposited Plan 220207
- Land ID Number 3759234 amalgamated into Lot 149 on Deposited Plan 220384
- Land ID Number 3759233 amalgamated into Lot 150 on Deposited Plan 220207
- Land ID Number 3760603 amalgamated into Lot 149 on Deposited Plan 220384
- Land ID Number 3760604 amalgamated into Lot 149 on Deposited Plan 220384
- Land ID Number 3760605 amalgamated into Lot 149 on Deposited Plan 220384
As a part of this proposal, pursuant to the provisions of Section 56 of the Land Administration Act 1997, Council also intends to dedicate a new road reserve, deviation of portion of the current Onslow-Peedamulla Road (portion of Land ID Number 3759224) reserve alignment. Once the deviation is dedicated (gazetted) and the new road constructed, the existing portion of road reserve will then be closed, and the land amalgamated into Lot 149 on Deposited Plan 220384.
This proposal is in relation to Mineral Resources Limited's Onslow Iron Project.
Council supported the closure of the subject paper roads as well as the deviation of a portion of Onslow-Peedamulla Road at its Ordinary Council Meeting on 13 December 2022.
