Shire of Ashburton Severe Weather Pre-Season Green Waste Service
The Shire of Ashburton is providing a green waste collection for Shire of Ashburton residents in Tom Price, Paraburdoo and Onslow free of charge from Tuesday December 12 to Thursday December 14.
Residents are advised to take time to look around their property for broken branches, fallen trees, shrubs, and tree pruning's to discard in preparation for the upcoming cyclone season.
Please ensure items are out by Monday 11th December as any items placed out after this date, or items not complying with the following conditions will not be collected.
Residents are asked to please stack items in a location that is easily accessible for hand collection.
♻️ Do not place items on top of water meters, footpaths, taps, Telstra pits or within 2 metres of green mini pillars (green domes)
♻️ Bags / bins / piles of loose leaves shall not be collected
♻️ Items stacked inside property boundaries will not be collected
This is not a free service for commercial operators or contractors to residential management services in the town where they have a responsibility to manage the disposal of their own waste.
