Re-surfacing works in Tom Price

The Shire will carry out resurfacing work in Tom Price starting next Tuesday 13 September. The works program is as follows:

Tuesday 13 September - Removal of existing road surface to a depth of 30mm in Poinciana Street and Poinsettia Street.  Residents directly affected will be notified by letter drop. Road surface will remain trafficable at all times.

Wednesday 14 September - Removal of existing road surface in Central Road between Tamarind and Oleander Streets and at the intersection of Central Avenue and Sirus Street.

Thursday 15 September - Asphalt patching works on Mine Road and Doradeen Road.

Friday 16 September - Asphalt resurfacing works on Central Avenue from Willow Road to Tom Price Hotel entrance.

Saturday 17 September -  Asphalt resurfacing works on Central Avenue from Tamarind to Oleander Streets

Monday 19 September -  Asphalt resurfacing on Poinsettia and Poinciana Streets.

The work will involve single lane closures and minor traffic delays are expected.  Motorists patience whilst the works are going on is appreciated.
