Green Waste Bin Allocation Extended
Residents of Tom Price are to be advised that the temporary green waste bins provided around town as part of the storm clean up efforts will be extended until Wednesday, December 4, 2024 due to the recent storm activity resulting in additional debris.
All emergency services, organisations, volunteers and community members have been working extremely efficiently and diligently providing these green waste bins around town.
It is your responsibility to ensure all green waste is deposited into these bins or taken directly to the Tom Price Waste Facility. Once these bins are filled and emptied at the tip, they will be relocated to other areas of town to ensure all residents have an opportunity to dispose of their green waste.
The Waste Facility is open during the following hours to accommodate any additional disposal needs:
- Monday to Saturday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Sunday: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Monday: CLOSED
Community members are reminded to only dispose of green waste into the designated bins. Please ensure debris is separated appropriately and only remove waste if it is safe to do so.
