As part of our service to the community, the Shire of Ashburton provides a comprehensive range of community and recreation facilities in each town, including ovals, halls, courts, sport facilities and public swimming pools.
Community members are reminded to ensure they book ovals, parks and gardens to avoid double booking.
We can also ensure that lighting is available at your preferred times at the time of booking.
We have had a number of incidents recently whereby our lighting system has been damaged due to individuals turning on lights.
All lighting is managed through a timer system and can be pre-programmed as required.
