Together Jacky and participants will explore the dynamics of community engagement through Orizome – the art of folding and dyeing Japanese papers revealing individualistic and unique patterns. The dip-dyed geometrical replicated patterns will reveal individual expressions, with no one piece is identical much like a thumbprint.

Jacky Cheng is a nationally acknowledged artist and educator based in Yawuru Country/ Broome. Jacky has won numerous awards including the 46th Fremantle Print Award, John Stringer, Jury Art and has been a finalists in multiple national awards
