Inland Local Emergency Plans - Tom Price, Paraburdoo and Surrounds
These arrangements have been prepared and endorsed by the Shire of Ashburton Inland Local Emergency Management Committee. They have been tabled with the Pilbara DEMC for comment and approved by the Shire of Ashburton Council.
The Shire of Ashburton Inland LEMC covers the townsites of Tom Price & Paraburdoo, numerous Pastoral Stations, Mining leases, crown land, as well as the Indigenous Communities of Wakathuni, Bellary Springs, Youngaleena and Ngurawaana.. The SOA Inland boundaries extend north to the Shires Boundary of Shire East Pilbara and the Shire of Roebourne, east to the Boundary of East Pilbara, west to the North West Coastal Highway & Nanutarra Munjina Rd Intersections, encompassing the Police Sub Districts of Tom Price and Paraburdoo.
