Following extensive community consultation and design processes, an official preliminary design concept for the Tom Price Bike Park is now complete.

The Shire of Ashburton is now seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced contractor for the design, documentation and construction of Tom Price Bike Park.

The Bike Park will be a great additional amenity for families and residents in Tom Price, allowing children of all ages and abilities to make use of the facility that is both safe and fun.

The new Bike Park facility will include:

  • A new pump track
  • Trail head, jump park and skills loop areas
  • A learn to ride track for younger and inexperienced riders

The preliminary design also includes the expansion of the existing dog park, a refurbished car park area, services including reticulation, and other associated siteworks.

RFT 20.21 Design and Construction of Tom Price Bike Park Facility will close at 2pm on Thursday November 4, 2021. Tenders may only be lodged electronically via www.tenderlink.com/ashburton, prior to its closing. Hard copy, facsimile or emailed tenders will not be accepted.

Upon construction commencing, disruptions to the dog park and Lions Park are expected. These disruptions will be communicated to the community as they occur.
