The Shire of Ashburton has recently issued the 2021/22 financial year annual rates notice.
Council rates are supplemented by Government grants and fees revenue to cover the cost of supporting the community at a local level.
This year there are several options for payment including:
Payment in full by a single instalment - due Thursday October 7, 2021.
Pay in two instalments - first instalment due Thursday October 7, 2021, and second instalment due Friday February 4, 2022.
Pay in four instalments – first instalment due Thursday October 7, 2021, second instalment due Monday December 6, 2021, third instalment due Friday February 4, 2022, and final instalment due Thursday April 7, 2022.
The Shire of Ashburton understands that financial hardship often makes it difficult to meet all financial commitments when they are due. Please contact the Shire of Ashburton’s Rates Officer Melinda Wagstaff via [email protected] to arrange a suitable payment arrangement to settle your rates debt by the end of the 21/22 financial year.
