Residents and road users in Tom Price are advised that the Shire of Ashburton will be conducting heavy patching road works on both Nameless Valley Drive and Banjima Drive in September 2021.

Heavy Patching is a long-term repair type which involves cutting up the surface, assessing and replacing the road base where necessary, and putting a new seal in place.

Works will commence on Nameless Valley Drive outside of Tom Price on Thursday September 2, 2021 and then on Banjima Drive, in Karijini National Park.

It is expected that the heavy patching will take the Shire up to seven days to complete.

The process will be performed under traffic and road users are advised to expect slight delays.

In an additional increase to road quality in the area, the Shire of Ashburton is also scheduled to complete a resurfacing and resealing of a further 4km of Nameless Valley Drive later this year.

For conditions of roads within the Shire please contact Tom Price Reception on (08) 9188 4444 during office hours.
