Onslow residents are advised that the Shire of Ashburton will be conducting hazard reduction burns around the Onslow townsite from October 17 to December 19, 2021.
The hazard reduction burns will be administered in conjunction with the Onslow Volunteer Fire and Emergency Service.
The community will be advised of the intention to burn approximately 5 hours prior to the prescribed burning taking place.
The areas in which the hazard reduction burns will occur have all been approved by the Buurabalayji Thalanyji Aboriginal Corporation.
