WA Australian of the Year Paul Litherland, WA Senior Australian of the Year Janice Standen, WA Young Australian of the Year Kendall Whyte and WA Local Hero Craig Hollywood will visit Onslow on Wednesday 27 July.
On Wednesday 27th of July 2022, Auspire will be in Onslow facilitating a community networking event involving four WA 2022 Australian of the Year recipients.

Auspire is an independent, not-for-profit organisation founded in 1977 that works with individuals, schools, government, and communities to promote, support and build capacity for social and cultural inclusion and recognise both individuals and community progress through the delivery of award programs.

The Shire of Ashburton and Chevron Australia will host Auspire at the Onslow Sports Club from 5-7pm, at an event that will include a speech from one of the WA Australian of the Year recipients and the opportunity for networking and questions.

Shire President Kerry White said the event is a great opportunity to speak with inspiring Western Australians and look ahead to nominations for 2023.

“We are pleased to invite these WA Australians of the year to Onslow to celebrate their unique achievements,” said Councillor White.

“This event is a great opportunity for members of our community to hear from some truly inspiring Western Australians.”

Chevron Australia is proudly the National Diversity and Inclusion Partner of the Australian of the Year Awards.
