Meet the Team

Meet Hamish

Our Ranger in the Western Sector

Hamish moved from Australind in the south west to Onslow in September of last year with his wife and 9 year old son.

Hamish grew up surfing in Margaret River, playing rugby and of course enjoying wine. In fact, Hamish had a career in the wine industry before moving into the mining industry.

Hamish has been a Fire & Rescue Service volunteer for nearly 15 years, enthusiastically joining the Onslow Fire & Emergency Service when he arrived on the Pilbara coast.

Hamish and his family love to travel overseas (although travel plans are on hold at the moment!), regularly returning to Italy for the vintage season.

Hamish acknowledges that being a Ranger can be technical at times, although he enjoys interacting with people and their animals. Hamish is a very approachable person and is happy to assist anyone where he can.

To get in touch with Hamish regarding all things Ranger Services, give him a call on 9184 6001 during work hours or on 0417 949 661 after hours for emergencies.

Meet Kyle

Our Coordinator of Ranger Services

Originally from New Zealand, Kyle worked on cattle stations including Moola Bulla and Sturt Creek in the Kimberley region before being drawn to Ranger Services.

Kyle loves the diversity his work provides him. In addition to his Ranger Services portfolio, Kyle is also integral in Emergency Management within the Shire of Ashburton.

In his very limited spare time Kyle enjoys all things adventure, particularly camping and exploring in his 4WD. His favourite local camping spots include Running Waters and Skull Springs. There are others, but Kyle says "they're a secret".

Kyle is based in Tom Price but also spends time in Onslow, Pannawonica and Paraburdoo. He is here to help. If you have any questions feel free to call him on 9188 4444 during office hours or on 0457 000 283 after hours for emergencies.
