  • Draft Local Government Heritage Inventory

The Shire of Ashburton invites submissions on the draft Local Government Heritage Inventory (LGHI), pursuant to Part 5, Section 45 of the Heritage Act of Western Australia 1990.

The LGHI (formerly known as the Municipal Heritage Inventory) identifies and describes the Shire’s places of cultural heritage significance.

This draft LGHI document has been prepared following a review of the existing Heritage Inventory, a community workshop, site inspections, and consultation with owner(s) and occupier(s) of each place.

A copy of the draft LGHI can be downloaded below, or is available for inspection during office hours at the Shire’s administrative offices in Tom Price and Onslow, and at the Paraburdoo Public Library.

Comments on the draft LGHI may be submitted in writing to the Shire of Ashburton on or before 11 May 2017.
